Barley Drink with Lime

Ingredients

6 cups water

3 tablespoons (30 gr) pearled barley

The peel of two small limes

1 tablespoon sesame oil

7 tablespoons (100 gr) sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla sugar or vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

Preparation

1. Put the ingredients in the blender and process until smooth.

2. Strain as instructed in the basic recipe (page 13).

Ingredients

6 cups water

3 tablespoons (30 gr) pearled barley

1 tablespoon instant coffee

1 tablespoon sunflower oil

8 tablespoons (120 gr) sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla sugar or vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt
